Martinis and cake. A good birthday plan in my book. I decided to take a birthday day off tomorrow so I can spend my birthday with Rick. Yay!We hope to do some work on our save the date cards this weekend in between cake and martinis. Rick has been playing around with different designs, so hopefully we will decide on one and get the printing and mailing started.
I also wanted to thank my dad for the many (am I really THIS old?) years that he has kept an important birthday tradition alive. Every year he calls me at the exact time I was born to wish me a happy birthday. I look forward to that call every year.
Cheers!

Happy Birthday, Andy!
ReplyDeleteThank you! What a great birthday. It was so nice to spend time with you guys and Kathleen and Geraldine.
ReplyDeleteDinner at Bangkok Hill was wondeful. Home safely now, but would rather still be up your way.
See you at Thanksgiving. I'm really looking forward to it.
To DADS: Thanks for calling :) Glad you and Rick got a chance to chat a little too. Looking forward to seeing you this weekend. Hugs and kisses.
ReplyDeleteEven though our best-laid plans for the birthday weekend were almost completely ignored, our weekend really was great. Pizza, Dexter, naps, shopping, Thai food, a lovely chat with your Dad, Magic Omelettes (two days in a row!) and an afternoon with the Girls. It was definitely awesome, and I'm very excited for Thanksgiving. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, well, that's usually how we roll (best laid plans changing). That's not a bad thing :)
